· Train students in the methods and methodology of scientific research.· Training students in writing scientific research.· Familiarize the student with the bases of writing the research.· Doing practical applications through a practical research study

Intended learning outcomes

Ability to work collectively in gathering information and data from diverse sources to carry out a specific research mission.2. Acquire the skill of being able to choose a research topic in the field of botany that benefits civil society and develop a methodology for its study.3. Ability to use software and computer applications in scientific research and to benefit from previous research work related to the research topic4. The student should use statistical methods to interpret the data and be able to carry out a research and report task

Teaching and learning methods

· The student selects a particular subject in coordination with a professor in the department (Professor Supervisor) for research and interpretation in a period of time not exceeding two semesters.· The student collects samples or data related to the subject· Preparation of a final report containing a scientific explanation· A date is set for the student to discuss in the content of the report and all relevant information previously presented in his university study.
