Overview

The general objectives of the course in the form of outputs that the student is supposed to acquire after successful completion of the course are:

  • · The ability to organize research, reports and duties required in the study period.
  • · The ability to write mathematical equations and enter tables and figures and number them.
  • · Preparing a proposal for a mini-research and how to present it to know the writing of the graduation project.

Intended learning outcomes

The targeted learning outcomes of the course are:

A. Knowledge & (Understand)

The basic information and key concepts that a student must acquire after successfully studying the course in the fields of knowledge and understanding are:

1

How to choose certain math points in line with the student's tendencies to write a mini-research during the semester.

2

Understand the foundations of quotation while preserving rights and avoiding fraud with knowledge of the meanings of symbols and signs used in scientific writing.

3

Know the mathematical scientific foundations for writing the topics of the master's thesis and how to present them.

B. Mental (skills)

The mental skills that the student acquires on analysis after studying the course successfully, and the ability to think creatively, identify and solve problems are:

1

The ability to arrange ideas and collect the information and references necessary to write and present them.

2

Analyze the results and compare them with previous works and link the objectives of the research to the conclusion.

3

The ability to formulate the chosen problem to develop solutions to it and apply it and to know the controls of scientific writing.

C. Practical & Professional (Skills)

The skills that the student must acquire when studying the course successfully, in order to enable him to use what he has studied in professional applications, are:

1

Arranging research topics and writing the necessary reports .

2

The ability to understand proper mathematical writing for the preparation of the required research proposal.

3

Uses the controls of scientific writing to write the graduation research in a mathematical scientific way and then present it.

D. Generic (and transferable skills)

General skills or skills that can be used in the fields of work that the student must acquire when studying the course successfully, so that they can be applied in any field, namely:

1

Using the Internet to collect mathematical information and scientific references.

2

Teamwork in discussing and presenting scientific reports.

3

Time management and completion of the research project on time.

Teaching and learning methods

The methods and methods used in teaching the course must be determined:

  • · Lectures
  • · Panel
  • Completion of a mini-research and submission for presentation and discussion
