Overview

A practical subject based on general electricity, electrical and magnetic, where the student can acquire the skills of dealing with devices and equipment within the laboratory and how to use them, develop and improve the student's skills in preparing practical reports.

Intended learning outcomes

The student can how to connect a voltmeter and a galvanometer before starting the experiment, and the student can draw the circuit correctly, and remember the laws of connecting resistors and capacitors in series and in parallel, and that the student understands the theoretical physical concepts, and understands the importance of laboratory experiments and their correct implementation...

Teaching and learning methods

1-Detailed explanation of the experiment on the board.

2-Use of various references, whether books or electronic networks

3- Give some theoretical problems as homework..4- Conducting practical experiments on devices in the laboratory.

Methods of assessments

Laboratory reports by 20% Participation and attendance, by 5%, the mid-term practical exam in the eighth week by 15%, and the final theoretical exam in the fourteenth week by 25%, the final practical exam in the fourteenth week by 35%.
