In this course, the following are taught:

- Introduction to spectral methods.

- Laws of spectroscopy.

- UV - visible light.

- Components of the UV - Visible light device.

- Infrared analysis.

- Components of the infrared device.

- Atomic absorption spectrometry introduction and components.

- Methods of analyzing samples and processing results.

- Methods of preparation of standard solutions and standard addition method.

- Emission spectrum devices and methods of their use.

Intended learning outcomes

1. Knowledge of spectroscopy and the laws of spectroscopy.

2. Introducing the student to the methods of violet analysis.

3. Enable the student to identify the methods of infrared analysis.

4. Developing students' skills to distinguish the components of the atomic absorption spectrum.
