Overview

This course is concerned with practical training and identifying the contents of the chemistry laboratory and the basics that must be available, as well as the precautions to be followed while the student is in the chemistry laboratory, identifying first aid methods and safety precautions, and finally preparing reports on practical experiments, results, notes and observations, and preparing some important reagents necessary to detect and identify acid radicals and identify basal radicals.

Intended learning outcomes

1- Introducing the student to occupational safety procedures in chemical laboratories.

2- Enabling the student to prepare solutions and chemicals that he will work with.

3- Enabling the student to use some simple equipment and devices.

4- Enabling the student to understand the methods of detecting some acid and base cracks.

5- Learn how to separate homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures.

6- The student knows how to deal with materials and equipment inside the laboratory.

7- Demonstrates how to use and calibrate devices.

8- Enumerates and explains the methods of preparing different solutions.

9- Determines how samples are handled during analysis.

10- Draws conclusions from experiments and comments on them.

11- Interprets and analyzes the nature and danger of chemicals.

12- Discover how to choose the appropriate method for preparing chemical solutions.

13- Summarizes the results of the analysis.

14- It is concluded that the results of the analyzes are compatible with the realistic values.

15- Links analysis methods to standard specifications.

16- Conducts chemical and physical analysis.

17- Write a scientific report on the results of the experiment.

18- Uses standard specifications in comparison with the results and conduct of the experiment.

19- Determines the quality of industrial products.
