Overview

This course aims to develop the students' ability to deal with the English basics used in everyday life. It helps them communicate correctly and improve their English language four skills ( listening, speaking, reading and writing ) by using efficient and helpful exercises, conversations, examples and activities . It also provides them with the basic and simple grammar of English language ( like verbs, simple present, present continuous… ) and commonly used vocabulary and phrases.

Intended learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students should be able to :

1-Develop speaking and writing skills.

2- Differentiate between numbers and telling the time in English.

3-Be able to use English tenses and pronouns correctly.

4-Be able to ask questions and make negations.

5- Develop reading and comprehending short English texts .

6- Formulate meaningful simple paragraphs and sentences.

7 - Use English common tenses and structures such as ( simple present, present continuous ,

simple past…)

8 - Use daily common vocabulary and phrases.
