Overview

After being exposed to basic grammatical structures, students of this course are given comprehensive lessons on the different kinds of phrases. This course also provides students with relevant exercises that enable them to practice the skills they have acquired in the course.

Intended learning outcomes

1- Clarify the difference between clause and phrase (function & structure).

2- Explain the concept and types of phrase.

3- Indicate the function of every given phrase in the structure of the sentence.

4- Explain the structure of all phrases types (noun phrase - verb phrase - etc)
