Overview

Reading comprehension 1 is considered one of the most important courses through which a student can develop the absorptive mental capacity by giving students strategies to understand the meanings of words in the text such as examination and scrutiny. The subject of the text is drawn. This course also works on other language skills such as writing and grammar while exposing written methods to different texts

Intended learning outcomes

1- Developing student's awareness of different methods of reading and writing. 2- Expanding the student's knowledge of global topics. 3- Train students on the skills that will help them become good readers. 4- Encourage students to understand words from the context of the segment. 5- Developing prediction and research skills and recognize the meanings of words and sentences.

Teaching and learning methods

This course is taught by using lectures. During these lectures, the student is exposed to several writings from various fields. Also, to teach this course, the instructor uses a computer and projector.

This course is evaluated by conducting a halfway exam, lecture activism, presentation, and final exam
