Overview

The course focuses on preparing the student for an academic writing course by scrolling on writing sentences in English and then writing short and long essays in English that regulate the article paragraphs in terms of composition and consistency using modern strategies in writing various rhetorical methods uses basic writing skills using pre-writing, editing and review skills.

Intended learning outcomes

1 . Specifies the steps of writing the article in English, divides the paragraphs of the article in English

2. It defines the article and the reason for its writing and types (Dependent and independent clauses)

3. Divide the paragraphs of the article in English

4. Writes different types of essays in English

5. It mentions the types of sentences and Turkish sentences (simple, compound sentences).

6. He explains his use of certain times in his writings and explains the rules studied and gives examples of how they are used in the written text (Past time clause- advertisbs- formation of adjectives)

7. Segments English Article Paragraphs

8. Analyse the paragraphs of the article to the introduction, paragraph or paragraphs supporting the introduction and the closing paragraph

9. Dialogue with colleagues about recent articles on ways to teach and learn English
