Overview

The academic writing course develops students’ skills in the field of academic writing, as the course covers wide parts of scientific research skills and enlightens students about various academic writing skills, such as paraphrasing sentences, how to describe numerical data, and quoting from other sources, as well as how to arrange sources in any scientific research.

Intended learning outcomes

1. The course aims to prepare the student to be familiar with different methods of academic writing.

2. Training the student to paraphrase certain information.

3. Acquiring the student the skill of converting information from tables into written passages.

4. The student on direct and indirect quotation.
