Abbasid literature course, code RA321: It is taught to students of the third academic year of the Department of Arabic Language for two hours per week. In this course, the student studies Abbasid history.
The course aims to:
Studying the history of literature in the Abbasid era.
- Identify the most important manifestations of the Renaissance in the Abbasid era.
- Identify the most important figures in literature in this era.
The value of the study returns to the student:
- That the student is acquainted with the history of literature in the Abbasid era and aspects of life in it.
- The student should explain the purposes and issues of Abbasid poetry.
- That the student remembers the characteristics of poetry in the Abbasid era.
