Overview

Knowing about what is happening in societies and its systems, studying this change, the reasons behind it whatever they were entire or by external reasons.

- Studying the directions that Social change goes in for individuals & society groups or in their values, ways and styles among them.

- Familiarizing the students of what he / she needs to know what might happen between different societies in their togetherness and when there are problems and how this Social change happens in the sides of society life .

- The relation of social change with the society problems and contributing in their life events, how to solve them .

- knowing the general bases for the social change for a certain event in a society.

Intended learning outcomes

- knowing the perceptive knowledgeable aims and skills.

- knowing the general bases for social changes for a certain event in a society.

- knowing the society characteristics before and after the social change.

- Distinguish between the society contents among societies.

- The ability to improve the contents & definitions linked to the society change.

- The ability to pose questions that helps to clarify the social change issues.

Teaching and learning methods

Daily lectures 3 hours weekly.

- Oral tests and discussions.

- prepare research papers and reports about relevant topics.

Explanation to the papers to push the students to participate, discuss the concepts.

Methods of assessments

- Mid-term exam 40 marks divided into :

- 15 foe first exam after 6 lectures.

- 15 for second exam after 10 lectures.

- 10 for the research papers and discussions.

- 60 for final exam.
