Overview

This course introduces the student to the sociology of education in terms of its origin, development, and its most important fields, with a focus on analyzing the concept of the social system of education in terms of its structure, functions, role in society, and its relationship to institutions.

Intended learning outcomes

After passing this scientific course, the student will be able to understand the scientific material and be able to benefit from the information obtained in his scientific and practical field.

Lectures, panel discussions, and discussion research

Methods of assessments

Oral exam 5%, research papers 15%, midterm exam 20%, final exam 60%.
