It is one of the compulsory courses for students in the sociology program. The aim of this course is to help the student to identify the concept of medical sociology, as well as to identify its nature and origins, and to identify the most important topics and general characteristics of medical sociology.And that the student acquires the scientific capabilities that enable him to develop thinking about the topics related to the course

Teaching the course is based on theoretical explanation using the blackboard, calligraphy, and discussion.
Methods of assessments
The class work score represents 40% of the final total, divided by 20% for the written midterm exam, 20% for the oral exam, and the remaining 60% for the final exam.
