It is one of the compulsory courses for students in the sociology program. The cultural sociology course is concerned with introducing the student to the cultural sociology course, understanding its most important topics, understanding the relationship of the elements of the subject with other subjects, and becoming able to analyze, discuss and discriminate in the subject.
Intended learning outcomes
After passing the course, the student becomes able to remember, retrieve and repeat information, understand it, rephrase it, and be able to analyze and discuss.
Teaching and learning methods
Teaching the course is based on theoretical explanation using the blackboard, calligraphy, and discussion.
Methods of assessments
The class work score represents 40% of the final total, divided by 20% for the written midterm exam, 20% for the oral exam, and the remaining 60% for the final exam.
