This course description provides a concise summary for the most important characteristics & the outcomes of the course and the learning outcomes expected from the student to achieve proving that he / she has accomplished to use of working opportunities available and that must be liked with the course description.
Teaching Practice acts as a practical part to prepare the students from the college of education to join the teaching occupation & school reaction.
It aims to develop the vocational abilities and personal traits . Besides , improving the essential skills for the future teacher.
• The following general aims can be identified for teaching practice 1 ( Teaching Applications) :
1- The student teacher & trainee acquire to truly understand his / her ability & occupational traits , working on developing them in a high level to join them with the theory & Application by using what the student has learnt in real situation.
2- Testing to what extent the student is able to apply the practical subject that he / she teaches and is trained , hie capability to improve it during the learning process & training.
Then , understanding more increasingly the specialized subjects.
3- Assisting the student teacher & trainee to acquire the competencies occupation that enables him / her to do his / her work more successfully in the frame of personal characteristics, teaching , training and re-arrange the development of the study , variation of learning activities that catches the students' attention.
4- Respect the teaching occupation & issues relevant to it , appropriating those who do this occupation, building up positive strides of this respected job .
5- Assisting the student teacher to really recognizes the contents of institutes, school system, reacting positively among these contents to help the student teacher to acquire the real comprehension to his / her ability and its occasional traits , working on improving them in a very high average.

1- Studying and working on different styles in teaching the linguistic skills.
2- Developing the student skills in teaching different linguistic skills.
3- Developing the student skills in controlling the class, dealing with individual differences.
4- Developing student skills in correcting the lesson process.

• Special Skill Objectives:
1- Preparing the students to acquire the basic teaching skills.
2- Training the students to practically work in real teaching in schools.
3- Applying the modern teaching strategies.
4- Acquiring the social interaction skills.
Teaching and learning methods
1- Lecture concerning with the theoretical part.
2- Daily oral tests for the most relevant issues from previous lectures.
3- Preparing summary about what is related to the most important ideas about teaching strategy.
4- Mini teaching for 10 minutes for each student along the lecture and ways of assessment.
Methods of assessments
- 40 marks mid- exam divided:
- 15 for written exam
- 15 for assignments ( class participation)
- 60 marks for final exam divided:
- 10 for teaching ways .
- 10 for learning tools .
- 10 dailogue & discussion.
- 10 for lesson performance.
