Overview
To familiarize the student with the sociology of language in terms of its definition, importance, and applied fields.2. That the student recognize the mixing of the sociology of language with the subjects of language sciences.3. That the student recognizes the linguistic phenomenon and its characteristics.4. That the student recognize the linguistic conflict and linguistic spread, their causes, and the dialects and linguistic diversity in society.5. That the student recognizes the relationship between language, thought and culture.6. To familiarize the student with the development of linguistic and sociological studies.
Intended learning outcomes
By passing this course, the student becomes able to compare and reason with realistic examples. The student uses social theories in explaining the linguistic phenomenon. To link the decisions of the article with what exists in reality. The student will be able to distinguish between the sociology of language and the topics of language sciences.Teaching and learning methods
