Overview

This course introduces the student to the principles of parasitology, starting from identifying the evolution and reproduction of parasites, the geographical distribution of parasites and their pathogenic impact.

Intended learning outcomes

5. Compare the different life cycles of a parasite and the infectious phases by drawing the parasite and the different stages of parasite evolution

6. The relationships that bind objects to each other. and the relationship between the host and the parasite.

7. It lists bloody, intestinal and cutaneous parasites.

Teaching and learning methods

1. Lectures and presentations by PowerPoint and documentaries supported by the lecture
