Overview

This course is concerned with the study of:

1- Basic concepts of organic chemistry such as energy levels, atomic astronomy, electronic configuration.

2- Study of Pauli's principle, molecular astronomy, chemical bonds and their types. Representation of structural formulas.

3- Identify the different functional groups.

4- Study of aliphatic hydrocarbons such as alkanes, alkenes and alkynes, their properties and methods of preparation.

5- Study of religions. Its properties, methods of preparation and interactions.

Intended learning outcomes

1. Introduce students to the basic concepts of organic chemistry.

2. Defines what organic compounds are.

3. Shows the difference between organic compounds.

4. Compares the nomenclature, preparation and reactions of alkanes, alkenes and alkynes.

5. Distinguish the methods of preparation of dienes.

6. Interprets and analyzes aliphatic hydrocarbons.

7. Discusses alkanes and alkenes.

8. Interprets the names of organic compounds according to organic groups.

9. Links between the preparation, infiltration and naming of alkanes and alkenes.

10. The student can name some organic compounds.

11. Employs his knowledge of aliphatic hydrocarbons.

12. Applies its information to alkanes and dienes.

13. Confidently discusses the reactions of aliphatic compounds.

14. It is applied by understanding the methods of preparation of organic compounds.

15. Acquire the skill of identifying chemical compounds.
