Overview

This course introduces the student to fungi in terms of phenotypic and anatomical structure and explains to the student the different sections of fungi as they are required for many advanced subjects.

Intended learning outcomes

1. The student will learn about the most important features and characteristics of fungi that distinguish them from the rest of the thalocias, and their importance in different areas of life

2. The student describes the stages of growth and reproduction in fungi and the most important factors affecting their growth

3. The student compares the ancient and modern classification of fungi according to what the researchers indicated in their studies

4. The student explains the most important features and characteristics of different fungal groups

5. The student is introduced to the methods of growing fungi and the most important components and basic elements for their growth

6. The student explains the most important results of fungal diseases through the apparent symptoms and according to what he learned from the course

7. The student enumerates the most important vital activities of fungi and the extent of their benefit

Teaching and learning methods

1. Teaching lectures using the demo device ( Data show)

2. Assigning students to conduct reports and research on specific topics related to the content of the course

3. Discussions and dialogue

4. Practical training for the diagnosis of fungi
