Overview

This course gives the student a quick introduction to: computers, their operating system, application programs, windows and their uses, Paint, notebooks, Internet browsers, and the use of application programs, Word, Excel, and Power Point in practice. Where the practical part is considered the largest part for acquiring practical skills, and these programs will help the student in completing his duties, his graduation project, and in his practical life after graduation.

Intended learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:

1-Recognize the types of operating systems

. Explain how to edit text easily. 2

. Distinguish the meanings of symbols used in applied programs. 3

.Recognize windows, painter, notebook and internet browsers. 4

. 5. Compare WORD, EXSEL, POWERPOINT programs

6. Conclude the methods of writing and editing texts.

. Distinguish the symbols used for different windows and programs. 7

. Interpret tables and data analysis. 8

9. Discover and analyze any problems to analyze data and write appropriate mathematical formats

. Connect app codes and uses. 10

. Write and edit texts. 11

. Handle tables and data analysis. 12

. Design presentations. 13

. Write mathematical formats and draw data charts using Excel software.14

Methods of assessments

Methods of evaluating students in this course:

Semester work 40% and final exam 60%

Semester work is divided: 20% first practical exam – second exam 20%

Final exam 60%
