Overview

This course is concerned with the knowledge of modern biological techniques, including the proper treatment of samples - cultivation - isolation, preservation and improvement - microbial fermentation - biological transformations and their uses in industrial processes, in addition to knowledge of plant and animal tissue culture.

Intended learning outcomes

Teaching and learning methods

· Theoretical lectures using aids such as illustrations, PowerPoint presentation and videos.

· Laboratory activities by conducting laboratory experiments and pickling the results.
