Overview

This course aims to prepare students to write academic paragraphs while various rhetorical modes are presented. Writing techniques are the basis of this course. Students learn to build sentences, arrange paragraphs and distinguish its parts. They are trained to write different types of paragraphs on different subjects

Intended learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student must be able to:

1. Write good paragraphs.

2. Distinguish the different part of the paragraphs.

3. Distinguish the different types of the paragraphs

4. Use writing techniques and phases correctly

5. Construct sentences and put them into paragraphs.

6. Write academic paragraphs that are grammatically correct.

7. Write different types of paragraphs.

8. Write passages and paragraphs on different subjects

Teaching and learning methods

The course will be presented to the student through lectures, panel discussions, or assignments and exercises, discussion and dialogue

class work +homework +Midterm Exam 40% & Final Exam 60%
