Overview

Summarized course:

The course aims to improve the presentation skills of the students, as it provides a series of instructions on how to prepare the presentation, identify the components of the presentation, and how to convey ideas clearly as well as engaging the audience. In addition, They learn to use some teaching aids and the Power Point slides to make powerful presentations.

Intended learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student must be able to:

1. Identify the principles and components of presentations.

2. Give meaningful and useful presentations in clear and correct language using advanced conversation with a rich vocabulary.

3. Design meaningful presentations on different topics, using advanced techniques and vocabulary.

4. Use the PowerPoint to make powerful presentations

Employ spoken language and body language efficiently and professionally to present and engage the audience.

Teaching and learning methods

The course will be presented to the student through lectures, panel discussions, or assignments and exercises, discussion and dialogue

Methods of assessments

Methods of evaluating students in this course:

(class work 40% & final 60%)

Class work is divided into written midterm, assignments and tasks.

Final exam is in a form of written exam.
