Overview

This course covers additional input on language study and theories related to second language teaching, and enhances students' knowledge of specific lessons in psycholinguistics.

Intended learning outcomes

The course aims to:

1. Give students a broader and more comprehensive discussion of second language theories and other basic lessons related to language study. 2- Highlight applied linguistics and its importance in showing the need to study psycholinguistics for students and its role in refining and preparing them as teachers of English in the future.

Teaching and learning methods

The course will be presented to the student through lectures, panel discussions, or assignments and exercises, discussion and dialogue

Methods of assessments

Methods of evaluating students in this course:

(class work 40% & final 60%)

Class work is divided into written midterm, assignments and tasks.

Final exam is in a form of written exam.
