Overview

The student acquires some cognitive, emotional and skill aspects of education related to teaching and its methods that help them in teaching general education curricula. The student is characterized by the moral values and positive attitudes required by the teaching profession. The student has the ability to use modern teaching methods that emphasize the learners' activity and positivity and take into account the individual differences among them. The student formulates behavioral goals in its various fields (cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor): He has the ability to plan effectively (daily, quarterly, and annual), and he has the ability to manage the classroom effectively.

Intended learning outcomes

At the end of the residence the student will be able to:

1. list the characteristics of a successful teacher's prescriptions and duties

2. Learn the concept and features of class instructions, its foundations, and criteria for selection.

3. Explain the concept of goals and the importance of setting them.

4. List some examples of general teaching methods.

5. Apply the steps of planning instruction.

6. Distinguish between characteristics and duties of a classroom teacher.

7. Compare the characteristics of the methods of instruction, its foundations, and criteria for selection.

8. Infer the concept of goals and the importance of setting them.

9. Compare some models of general teaching methods.

10. To draw the steps for good lesson planning

11. Apply knowledge of the characteristics of a teacher in their profession.

12. Infer differences between features of methods in instruction.

13. To formulate various behavioral goals (cognitive, emotional, and skill)

14. Be able to use different teaching methods.

15. Plan for some general education lessons according to his/her field of study.

16. Be able to communicate, in written and in oral form

17. Be able to work on a group team

18. Self-learn and have the ability for continuous learning.

19. Use computer technology and the Internet to search for information.

Teaching and learning methods

The methods used to enable students to acquire the knowledge, skills and goals of the course.

- Lecture to demonstrate theoretical concepts and knowledge experiences.

- Discussion and dialog.

- Self-Learning

- Mini-Learning: Showing sample lessons.
