The course aims to provide students with the techniques and tricks used in translating administrative texts. In addition to introducing the norms of administrative and economic cultural agreements in both English and Arabic, students are also introduced to administrative and economic terminology.This course also aims to study practical issues related to advanced translation in the fields of economics and management including economic, banking, trade, import and export, taxation and customs . Students will have the opportunity to learn and share with each other useful translation procedures and terminology related to the field. Students increase their awareness of translation techniques and improve their professional performance.
Intended learning outcomes
By the end of the 12th week, the student should be able to:
properly translate letters and administrative conversations.
understand the type of language and the structure of this written text and the mechanisms of its translation.
Speed and accurate of the translation process.
Using modern techniques for economic translation.
Using the Internet and audio-visual means to carry out the translation process.
Gain the required skills for an administrative translator.
Have a theoretical background of the steps involved in translating.
ability to see the latest developments in the economy and management for the ability to translate properly.

Lecture, explanation and examples in the classroom.
Providing more explanations and examples by urging the student to watch Youtube Videos .
urging students also to read the texts available online, and share them with the rest in the Facebook group.
