Overview

The description of the course of the history of ancient art deals with a thorough study of the course, which is represented in the process of realizing the historical and civilizational sequence of ancient nations, and this helps to see the historical and civilizational monuments and evidence of that era of time, and to know the philosophical aspects and motives behind each historical era, and thus the student realizes the concepts and philosophy of each time era with all its technical, aesthetic, historical and civilizational features and characteristics in a general framework from ancient primitive art to the art of the stone ages (Paleoletic), (Neolithic) and (Kalkuletti), in addition to art Ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian art _also_ Roman art, Byzantine art and Gothic art, and the characteristics, features and factors affecting ancient arts are addressed.

Description of the practical part (Laboratory projects): The course does not contain an applied aspect (the practical part), but it is possible to review models from those time periods for each stage using technological techniques such as the technique of the program (Photoshop - PowerPoint) to display some works, sculptures and artistic effects of those time periods .

1 The student should be introduced to art in the stone ages

2 The student should explain the primitive art based on rock painting

3 The student should distinguish the features and characteristics of ancient art in the era of civilizations

4 The student should compare the arts of Mesopotamian civilization and Greek civilization

5 The student should explain the beauty in the art pieces of the Roman civilization and the Phoenician civilization
