Overview

Nature and its assets are the basis of every decoration, it is important for the artist and its fertile imagination, from which it derives its foundations, rules and elements of its composition, and when the artist insisted on his need to love the art and decoration, he turned to nature to develop decorations after reflection and in-depth observation, Decoration is one of the most important and influential plastic arts in the acquisition of artistic works and craft products aesthetic, artistic and formal values along with functional, historical and cultural values. This course depends on knowledge of the foundations and elements of design, and knowledge of the concept of decorative unity and diversity in accordance with the artistic principles that correspond to the course.

Description of the practical part (laboratory projects): The student should do preliminary applied studies of the forms and designs of various decorative based on the elements and foundations of the decorative design from point, line, light, shadow and others. He then discusses the knowledge of the color circle and the work of applied studies of the color circle - studies of cold and hot colors - the color gradient - and some color structures and the process of mixing them. Practical studies inspired by nature.

1 The student should familiarize himself with the concept of plant decorative design and its genesis

2 The student expresses with aesthetic plant decorative designs using the plant decorative rules of repetition, symmetry, symmetry, balance and rhythm

3 The student should draw preliminary sketches of his decorative designs according to the rules and decorative foundations showing the aesthetic values of the plant decoration

4 It shows the stages that the plant decorative design goes through to appear in its full form
