Overview

Porcelain course 2 is a complement to the ceramics course 1 in a sequential and interconnected process in terms of tools and materials, but the student in this course recognizes the types of furnaces used in the burning process of ceramics and also learn about the methods of drying the works before the breach in addition to studying the methods of processing the surfaces of ceramic works The necessary tools for this are also studied colors and ceramic coatings of various types and methods of preparation and color combinations and uses .

Description of practical part (Laboratory projects):

Training in the use of ovens and burning processes.

Training on the use of the forming wheel for ceramic works.

Applied study of the processes and methods of fire for ceramic works and how to dry the clay.

- An applied study of the formation processes of clay and the way of its decoration manually.

Applied studies of molding and molding processes in the production of innovative ceramic works characterized by skill and innovation.
