Overview

A study of the basic practical and theoretical concepts of different natural and industrial wood types and study of their properties and plastic possibilities, and study of manual and electrical number, and methods of use in order to provide the student with technical and technical expertise and skills in the field of wood formation and the design process. Recognize and understand some of the cosmetic values and aesthetic relationships in woodwork,

Description of the practical part (laboratory projects): Presentation of models of wood types and tools used and mistresses for woodworking and then training in basic skills in the use of wood and employing them aesthetically and usefully, training in different methods of formation of wood, and work on the implementation of some applications using wood ore and required tools.

Intended learning outcomes

1 The student recognizes the woodworking in terms of the use of tools and the application of exercise.

2 Some techniques in carpentry are determined by the types of wood.

3 Shows the aesthetic and functional value of the formation of different wood types.

4 The student should be able to distinguish between materials and tools used to carry out the work.

5 It explains how to design and carry out works of insolence and prominence to reflect artistic creativity.
