Overview

Sculpture is a branch of the visual arts and one of the plastic branches and this art is practiced on rocks, metals, ceramics, wood and other materials can work many different materials through the process of removal such as sculpture or assembly process such as welding, formation and casting and is a embodied art based on the creation 3D objects and objects such as abstract shapes, static nature or living nature can also be used plaster, wax, stone or wood engraving and (also) It is one of the aspects of artistic creativity and that is to give the student the ability to perform in different materials and acquire the skill of molding and reproduction of other sculptural works of art and define the structural and plastic values of the work completed sculptural and practical sculpting and structural sculpture.

Description of practical part (Laboratory projects):

- Applied study of sculpted sculptures.

Practical study of construction.

- Applying sculptural works to selected subjects based on the student's artistic vision

- Field visits to exhibitions and art museums that are relevant and ceramics associations to identify tools, ovens, types of clay and ceramics completed within the association
