Overview

Sculpture is a branch of the visual arts and one of the plastic branches and this art is practiced on rocks, metals, ceramics, wood and other materials can work many different materials through the process of removal such as sculpture or assembly process such as welding, formation and casting and is a embodied art based on the creation 3D objects and objects such as abstract shapes, static nature or living nature can also be used plaster, wax, stone or wood engraving and (also) It is one of the aspects of artistic creativity and that is to give the student the ability to perform in different materials and acquire the skill of modeling and reproduction of other sculptural works of art and define the structural and plastic values of the work completed.

Descriptive of practical part (Laboratory projects):

- The student recognizes in the practical aspect the elements of the construction of the sculptural form, lines, the size of the sculptural mass, light and the fallen shadow on the sculptural work.

- Exercise on how to prepare and prepare the clay for the sculptural work to be carried out.

- Preparation of sculptural works based on construction and sculptural formation and the process of forming the mud by hand and training on how to deal with the mud easily.
