It aims to identify the schools, methods and methods of ancient criticism, in the Jahliyya, Islamic, Umayyad and Abbasid eras, while identifying some of the thorny critical issues such as the issue of pronunciation and meaning, printing and workmanship, and literary plagiarism, while also highlighting some of the ancient critics.

By the end of the course, the student must be able to:
1. Identify schools, methods and curricula of ancient criticism, in the pre-Islamic era, the Umayyad era, and the Abbasid era.
2. Identify some of critical criticism issues such as the issue of pronunciation and meaning, printing and workmanship, and literary plagiarism.
