Overview

The course aims to familiarize the student with the imposition of zakat, by identifying its reality and the conditions for its obligation, and its types of zakat on money, crops, livestock, and trade, and the nisab for each of them, along with identifying its expenditures and etiquette.

Intended learning outcomes

At the end of the course,

1-The student will be familiar with the definition of fasting, its virtues and the moral behind its legitimacy.

2-The student should enumerate the rules of fasting, its invalidations, recommended and disliked things.

3-To explain to the student what invalidates the fast and the types of expiations.

4-The student should specify the things that the fasting person is recommended to do.

5-That the student knows exactly of the provisions of i'tikaaf.
