Overview

Introducing students to the origins and development of jurisprudential rules, and clarifying the most important general rules.

Intended learning outcomes

: By the end of the course, the student should be able to

1- Get acquainted with the concept of jurisprudential rules, and the history and circumstances of their inception

2- To familiarize the student with the major rules of Islamic law

3- To remember the texts of minor jurisprudence rules and their attribution to their origins

4- To explain the vocabulary of jurisprudential rules and teaches the method of inference with them on the branches

5- To explain how to append the jurisprudential branches to their general rules.

Teaching and learning methods

The course will be presented to the student through lectures, open panel discussions, and discussion and dialogue.

Methods of assessments

Methods of evaluating students in this course: ( Mid-term 40% and final 60%)

Term work: written midterm exams .

Written final exam.
