Overview

This course aims to introduce psychological tests, their types and importance, characteristic of a good test, and the foundations of rationing psychological testing. The course presents a set of psychological tests and trains students on how to use them.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the students should be able to:

1. Recognize the concepts associated with psychological tests.

2. Explain the steps associated with preparing a test.

3. Enumerate the conditions for psychological tests.

4. Distinguish the types of psychological tests.

5. Clarify mental ability tests and types.

6. Differentiate how to interpret psychological test scores and interpret them statistically.

7. Compare objective psychological tests, multifaceted personality test, and Eysenck personality test.

8. Interpret analysis according to concepts relevant to psychological tests.

9. Analyse the types of psychological tests.

10. Concludes the conditions for conducting psychological tests.

11. Link between different types of psychological test

13. Discuss ways of interpreting statistically scaled psychological tests.

14. Criticize the objective psychological tests, the multifaceted personality test, and the Eysenck personality test.
